Little Dove
On the wings of this white dove
I’ll set your spirit free.
Up into the big deep sky,
to heaven, where you’ll be.
I know God has a plan for us,
he wants us by his side.
But it is hard for us to understand
when we are left behind.
Little dove, help lift our hearts
as we watch you go,
God is there if we just ask,
because He loves us so.

Carry Me Home
My loved ones do not cry
And worry of me
For like the dove
I have been set free.
God has called me
To my mansion on high
Just there among the clouds
In the deep blue sky.
I have no pain
No suffering to do
I have been called home
And I know you will too.
So beat hard and fast
Little wings of white

And carry me home
Before the night

God Saw You Getting Tired

God saw you getting tired
When a cure was not to be.
So He wrapped His arms around you,
And whispered, “Come unto me”.
You didn’t deserve what you went through,
And so He gave you rest.
God’s garden must be beautiful,
He only takes the best.
So when I saw you sleeping,
So peaceful and free from pain.
I could not wish you to come back,
to suffer that all again.

Wait For Me

Remember mom’s smile
And her love of all things
Bright red flowers
And the dove’s white wings.
Through time she travels
To do God’s will
Such a beautiful face
I can see it still.
Of all things proper
She filled her heart
And God’s love was there
From the very start.
Today we rejoice
As we set this dove, free
She has met her savior
Mom wait for me!

The Flight
Now dry your tears and look above
For soon there will fly a pure white dove.

I ask for a moment before setting her free,
To listen to these words and think of me:

As your days on this beauitful earth pass by,
Don't be afraid to love, and don't be afraid to cry.
Because even though I am gone from sight,
Remember, it was only my body
That couldn't take flight.

"The Final Flight"
In Loving Memory of (your loved ones name)

Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free,
I'm following the path God laid for me.
I took his hand when I heard his call,
I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day,
To laugh, to love, to work, to play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way,
I've found that peace at the close of the day.
If my parting has left a void,
Then fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss,
Ah yes, these things I too will miss.
Be not burdened with times of sorrow,
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.
My Life's been full, I savored much,
Good friends, good times, a loved one's touch,
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief,
Don't lengthen it now with undue grief.
Lift up your heart and share with me,
God wanted me now, He set me free.

The Escort
If I must leave this world today,
Please find a dove to show me the way.
For the sky has its eternal space,
Find me a dove who knows this place.

I will not fear to lose the sight,
Of this bird's perfect pure white.
Let her fly and circle free.
Look close behind her and you might see me.

We will depart at Heaven's door
Where I will find peace
Forever more.

If I must leave this world today,
Find a dove
To show me the way.

The Broken Chain

We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name,
In life we loved you dearly,in death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone.
For part of us went with you, the day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide,
And though we cannot see you, you are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.

It's a Time of Heartfelt Sadness

It's a time of heartfelt sadness
When a loved one passes on
But know your loved one lives in joy
And peace where he (or she) has gone

Oh how much he will be missed
That's where the sadness lies
But others who have missed him
now rejoice in Heaven's skies

We know one day we'll join him
Because our time on earth will flee
We'll then live with him forever
Throughout all eternity

A Silent Tear

Just close your eyes and you will see
All the memories that you have of me
Just sit and relax and you will find
I'm really still there inside your mind
Don’t cry for me now I'm gone
For I am in the land of song
There is no pain, there is no fear
So dry away that silent tear
Don’t think of me in the dark and cold
For here I am, no longer old
I'm in that place that’s filled with love
Known to you all, as "UP ABOVE"

In Loving Memory of
who passed away 00 years ago today.
Remember him with a smile today, He was not one for tears.

Reflect instead on memories, Of all the happy years. Recall to mind the way he spoke, And all the things he said.

His strength, his courage, the way he lived, Remember that instead.
He was a very special son, His eyes that shone with laughter, So much of him that never dies,

But lives on ever after. Forever loved and in our heart.
